We hired Alan Ong as a consultant in November 2017 to do a review of two of our business units for a company we had acquired in Asia. Alan did some initial research and data gathering and then spent time meeting with the business executives and team to sound off initial ideas on possible approaches. Alan then produced a final report included a detailed environmental and competitor analysis with Porter’s 5 Forces as the basis and including a review of pricing strategy and options to grow the business. His recommendations included a business level strategy and recommendations through a Balanced Score Card of initiatives. He performed a detailed walk-through with the team in December and we are now working with Alan on the implementation of a numbers of his recommendations.
